A chapter built around aviation and friendship
Our base of operations is Watervliet Municipal Airport (40C), a small two-runway grass airport that preserves the welcoming traditions of general aviation. Camping is allowed on the airport property, making it a memorable overnight stop for pilots traveling through the area.
Chapter 585 is about more than airplanes. It is about the people, friendships, knowledge, and shared enthusiasm that make aviation special.
Monthly meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
